Licensed Massage Therapist (Luxury Spa)

The Licensed Massage Therapist is responsible for delivering exceptional massage experiences that reflect the luxury standards of Delamar Spa. Our therapists provide personalized, relaxation-focused treatments while ensuring every guest feels welcomed, comfortable, respected, and cared for from beginning to end. Beyond technical skill, therapists are expected to embody professionalism, hospitality, and genuine warmth, creating an environment where guests can fully relax and rejuvenate.

Essential Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional massage services in accordance with Delamar Spa protocols and luxury service standards.
Create a calm, welcoming, and personalized experience for every guest.
Conduct a professional consultation before each service to understand guest preferences, comfort level, and wellness goals.
Perform massage treatments with proper draping techniques that prioritize guest privacy, dignity, and comfort at all times.
Maintain a quiet, relaxing treatment environment while communicating appropriately throughout the service.
Adapt pressure and techniques based on guest feedback while remaining within the scope of Delamar Spa treatment protocols.
Focus on providing a luxury wellness experience rather than clinical or medical treatment.
Recommend appropriate enhancements, home care, and retail products to support the guest's wellness journey.
Ensure treatment rooms are impeccably clean, organized, and fully prepared before each guest.
Follow all sanitation, safety, and state licensing regulations.
Maintain accurate treatment notes and guest preferences.
Collaborate with Spa Coordinators and fellow team members to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Participate in ongoing education, product knowledge, and service training.
Represent the Delamar brand through professionalism, integrity, and exceptional guest care.

Requirements

Qualifications
Current Connecticut Massage Therapy License in good standing.
CPR certification preferred.
Previous luxury spa or hospitality experience preferred.
Ability to perform additional modalities as trained and approved by Delamar Spa.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
